Your generous donations have helped pull together enough money to begin to build a library in Ghana.

The process of doing anything in Ghana is very unpredictable and often quite lengthy in time span the more complicated the endeavor.  Sometimes the money appropriated for a large project in a foreign country isn’t enough to cover it in the end.  We just do our best to anticipate the costs and then try to fill in the gaps as we go along.

Additionally, as we try to avoid reinventing tried-and-true library building processes, we’ll begin working more with The Osu Children’s Library Fund. From our prior conversations with them, once the library is built, it will certainly have ongoing maintenance and staffing needs that will require further generous participation.  Therefore, please check back from time to time to see if there are more ways to help.

We are now working out the details of library site location and construction and will update this page with that information as we move forward.
